Neskaupstaður

The camp site is at a beautiful vantage point by the avalanche barriers in Drangagil, above Víðimýri. The area has showers, toilets, electricity, a playground and a beach volleyball court. You can hike up the ramparts and enjoy magnificent views of the town, the fjord and the mountains.

The Norðfjörður swimming pool is a cool outdoor pool with beautiful mountain views, hot tubs and two large slides. In the immediate vicinity of the swimming pool is the Neskaupstaður Botanical Garden. Skorrahestar is in Norðfjarðarsveit, just inside the town, with horse rental and once again the Golf Club of Norðfjörður runs a fun nine-hole golf course.
