Fáskrúdsfjörður

The campsite is in a peaceful setting by the Ósinn River, just inside the settlement. There are showers, toilets, electricity and a parking space for campers. A tourist information centre is open during the summer in the Kolfreyja Gallery.

Historical ties with France are strong in Fáskrúðsfjörður, and the town's streets bear both Icelandic and French names. The swimming pool in Fáskrúðsfjörður is a pleasant indoor pool with an outdoor hot tub.
